Change Settings

[1] Mute Role

The mute role is one of the most important things Wick depends on. It's also one of the essentials.

Setting a Mute role:

To set a mute role, follow this format: w!statics <ROLE> ?set 1 where <ROLE> is the name of the Mute role you wish to set.

<ROLE> can be:

  • Mention: You can just mention the role you want to have as a muted role

  • Name: Just type out the role's name if you want. Wick will catch it.

  • ID: This is the most accurate way in case Wick ends up adding another role.

We recommend using the command w!setup instead of manually setting up the mute role unless you are absolutely sure that you know what you are doing.

  • Running wick's quick setup [w!setup] will also save you a lot of time!

For example: If you have a role named Muted-Member that has the ID 536289928913616906 and you want to set it as a mute role, you can do either of the following:

  • w!statics @Muted-Member ?set 1

  • w!statics muted-member ?set 1

  • w!statics 536289928913616906 ?set 1

  • w!statics muted-m ?set 1

w!s @Muted ?set 1

Deleting a Mute role:

To delete a mute role, follow this format: w!statics <ROLE> ?del 1 where <ROLE> is the name of the Mute role you wish to delete.

For example: If you have a mute role named Muted-Member set in statics and you want to delete it as a mute role, you can do either of the following:

  • w!statics @Muted-Member ?del 1

  • w!statics muted-member ?del 1

  • w!statics 536289928913616906 ?del 1

  • w!statics muted-m ?del 1

w!s @Muted ?del 1

Wick's certain systems will not function without a mute role present!

[2] Quarantine Role

The quarantine role is one of the most important things Wick depends on. It's also one of the essentials.

Setting a Quarantine role:

To set a quarantine role, follow this format: w!statics <ROLE> ?set 2 where <ROLE> is the name of the Quarantine role you wish to set.

<ROLE> can be:

  • Mention: You can just mention the role you want to have as a Quarantine role

  • Name: Just type out the role's name if you want. Wick will catch it.

  • ID: This is the most accurate way in case Wick ends up adding another role.

We recommend using the command w!setup instead of manually setting up the Quarantine role unless you are absolutely sure that you know what you are doing.

  • Running wick's quick setup [w!setup] will also save you a lot of time!

For example: If you have a role named Quarantined that has the ID 536289928913616906 and want to set it as your Quarantined role, you can do either of the following:

  • w!statics @Quarantined ?set 2

  • w!statics Quarantined ?set 2

  • w!statics 536289928913616906 ?set 2

  • w!statics Quaran ?set 2

w!s @Quarantine ?set 2

Deleting a Quarantine role:

To delete a Quarantine role, follow this format: w!statics <ROLE> ?del 2 where <ROLE> is the name of the Quarantine role you wish to delete.

For example: If you have a Quaranatine role named Quaranatined set in statics and you want to delete it as a mute role, you can do either of the following:

  • w!statics @Quaranatined ?del 2

  • w!statics Quaranatined ?del 2

  • w!statics 536289928913616906 ?del 2

  • w!statics Quaranat ?del 2

w!s @Quarantine ?del 2

Wick will NOT function at all when the Quarantine role is missing!

  • If you do not have that role set in statics, it is a very bad setup and wick will be rendered useless in your server.

[3] Admin Role

If you have regular admins and you want them to only use Wick's moderation commands without having any other advantage, you can add their admin role to Wick's statics.

To add an admin role, follow w!statics <ROLE> ?add 3

<ROLE> can be:

  • Mention: You can just mention the role you want to have as an Admin role

  • Name: Just type out the role's name if you want. Wick will catch it.

  • ID: This is the most accurate way in case Wick ends up adding another role.

For example: If you have a role named Wick-Admin which has the ID 813468620461047818 and you want to add it as an Admin role, you can do either of the following:

  • w!statics @Wick-Admin ?add 3

  • w!statics Wick-Admin ?del 1

  • w!statics 813468620461047818 ?del 1

You take full responsibility for what trusted admins do, choose them wisely.

  • w!statics Mobil ?del 11

w!statics mobilfan ?del 11

Extra owners are..... YOU!

  • See how Wick treats you? That's how it'll treat Extra Admins, they can use pretty much ALL commands without any restrictions, they will never be monitored nor tracked.

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU ADD EXTRA OWNERS!

[12] Verification Channels

These are the channels used by Wick to send messages regarding wick's verification to new users.

Wick will attempt to verify a new user in one of the set channels.

We recommend letting wick setup its own verification channel. This will make it so that you won't have to deal with the right permissions setup.

  • You can later EDIT these channels according to your liking.

    * Wick will create a verification channel when a new user joins.

You can add up to 3 Verification Channels.

  • Wick will randomly pick one of the channels if you have multiple verification channels to verify users.

w!statics #verification ?add 12
w!statics #verification ?del 12

Persistence

Persistence is static setting enforced by us!

Persistence is the feature that gives Mute / Quarantine to users that are Muted / Quarantined who try to leave and rejoin your server to shake off their respective roles.

Notes

[1.] If you don't want to type w!statics and use the reactions to view that one settings you want to check, use a short cut.

Suppose, you want to check your list of Trusted Admins. Use the command w!s 10 to directly view the list of trusted admins.
